Supporting Girls’ Health and Wellness Education

Together, Nestlé Health Science and Girl Scouts of the USA are supporting girls through health and wellness programming.

Nestlé Health Science Foundation, a 501c3 and charitable arm of our business, is proud to support the Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA), the largest girl-led organization in the world, to help girls develop the confidence they need to thrive through GSUSA’s health and wellness education.

“We’re excited to see all the good we can create alongside Girl Scouts of the USA,” said Christina Ferzli, Head of Corporate Affairs and Corporate Communications, Nestlé Health Science. “We’re proud to award a grant and engage with the organization to bolster programming to build girls’ courage, confidence and character.”

GSUSA health and wellness education encompasses a wide variety of outdoor, life skills, STEM and entrepreneurship activities and experiences.

In addition to the grant, our Carnation Breakfast Essentials® brand recently launched two new nutritional drink flavors inspired by some of the most popular Girl Scout Cookies® – Carnation Breakfast Essentials® Girl Scout Thin Mints® and Carnation Breakfast Essentials® Girl Scout Coconut Caramel, as part of a licensing agreement with GSUSA.

“We’re thrilled to be an official licensee of Girl Scouts of the USA, and now to provide them with a charitable grant which will directly help their ongoing mission,” said Mohini Joshi, Vice President of Brand Marketing, Nestlé Health Science USA. “Our engagement, which began with our recent Carnation Breakfast Essentials announcement, will now continue throughout the year, with Nestlé Health Science supporting Girl Scouts and their programming nationwide.”

About Girl Scouts of the USA

Girl Scouts bring their dreams to life and work together to build a better world. Through programs from coast to coast, Girl Scouts of all backgrounds and abilities can be unapologetically themselves as they discover their strengths and rise to meet new challenges—whether they want to climb to the top of a tree or the top of their class, lace up their boots for a hike or advocate for climate justice, or make their first best friends. Backed by trusted adult volunteers, mentors, and millions of alums, Girl Scouts lead the way as they find their voices and make changes that affect the issues most important to them.
